Chef at Pite Havsbad

We are looking for a passionate and experienced chef at Pite Havsbad who wants to create memorable culinary experiences in a dynamic and varied work environment.

Pite Havsbad is the largest tourist and conference facility in the Nordics. We have nearly 400 rooms, 230 cabins, and 850 camping spots. We offer over 40 activities for both young and old, and over 60,000 square meters of indoor space. For the whole family, we provide adventures, fun, and coziness. With our wide range of offerings, from children's entertainment to grand shows, there is something for everyone, regardless of age. Pite Havsbad attracts visitors year-round, regardless of the season. During peak season, we have up to 7,000 overnight guests and 10,000 day visitors each day.

As a chef with us, you will be responsible for creating flavorful and well-thought-out menus – from simple lunches to grand dinners for up to 1,200 guests. Our events range from corporate parties and weddings to private gatherings and outdoor cooking – here you will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on things and use your creativity. You will also be part of our bistro concept and contribute to developing the dishes we serve there.

Another part of the job is to create tasting dinners where we offer our guests a unique and exclusive culinary experience. In addition to these more specialized dishes, you will also prepare traditional home-cooked meals, which are always appreciated by our guests. The job also includes preparing high-standard staff meals, which we see as an important part of creating a good work environment and community in the kitchen.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with at least 6 years of experience as a chef. You are engaged, flexible, and love to work in a fast-paced environment. It is natural for you to collaborate with your team to achieve the best possible results. You are used to handling multiple tasks at the same time and see every challenge as an opportunity to grow and develop. We would like you to have experience and interest in specialties such as American BBQ, game meat, desserts, or tapas. If you have particular knowledge in any of these areas, we see it as an extra bonus.
