Our organization is on an exciting journey where we are developing enjoyable, well-prepared, nutritionally balanced, and sustainable daily meals for the children/students at Sunderbyskolan/Hammarens Preschool and in Luleå municipality at large. Through child and student influence and in close collaboration with the educational activities, we aim to put Luleå's school meals on the map. Sunderbyskolan and Hammarens Preschool are located in Sunderbyn. Every day, we prepare lunch for approximately 450 children at the school and preschool in the same building, as well as breakfast and snacks. We offer you a daily routine where you will help develop our school meals to reach new heights. With us, you will not only be a chef but also an inspirer for both your colleagues and the children/students. RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of chef, your tasks will include the following:

You will participate in all tasks and work processes in the kitchen.
You will work sustainably with budget, purchasing, and menu planning to offer nutritious and safe meals that the students appreciate.
You will create opportunities through your engagement in child and student influence through participation and collaborate with the school's staff.
You will contribute to the development of the organization through new ideas and suggestions for improvements towards set goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

A minimum of a high school education in restaurant/food, or equivalent experience that the employer considers comparable.
Professional experience as a chef, with a background in service and good customer relations.
Good knowledge and ability to work fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience working with digital tools.

We are looking for someone who is creative, relationship-building, confident, and solution-oriented. You are open to new ideas, easily create positive relationships, and handle new situations calmly while quickly finding solutions to problems.

The position is a permanent position. A probationary period may apply. Start date: 2/6 or by agreement.
