We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of additional languages and experience in surgery, oncology, or outpatient care.

What you will work with

The surgical outpatient clinic at Sunderby Hospital belongs to the division of Regional Healthcare 2 and the area of General Surgery/Urology. The clinic functions as a regional clinic for Norrbotten. Together with two other nurses, you will work in a team with upper gastro surgeons, responsible for patients with cancer in the esophagus, stomach, liver, and pancreas.

As a contact nurse, you will have a central role that includes both practical and administrative work.

You will act as a contact nurse for patients with upper gastro cancer, where you are responsible for coordination between the patient and other actors. An important part of the job involves planning and booking appointments for patients as well as providing telephone advice. You will also have your own clinic where you meet patients for initial visits. Additionally, it includes developing and organizing the contact nurse's work to ensure effective and qualitative care.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime. Start date by agreement.
