Klingsta is a dementia care home with 39 apartments, beautifully located in a natural area near Edsviken and within walking distance from Mörby Centrum. The apartments are distributed across 4 departments. Klingsta care and nursing home is surrounded by a beautiful enclosed green garden with apple trees and quiet spots. We have walking distance to the waters of Edsviken and nice walking paths.

The operation is characterized by high competence within the various professional categories. All staff work from a rehabilitative approach where the goal is to see each resident as an individual and take into account their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to provide good personalized care and stimulation with competent staff who cater to interests and needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nursing assistant and care assistant, you provide residents with a meaningful everyday life by offering personal care, support, and social activation. Based on routines, implementation plans, and life stories, we ensure that each resident's individual needs are met. Additionally, you are an important piece in supporting and motivating the elderly, creating security, and maintaining contact with relatives. With us, we work together, and you will collaborate with other professionals to offer our residents the best possible living experience.

You will also assist and provide support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal situations, as well as social activities and outdoor activities. Furthermore, you will perform tasks that are part of the daily operations of the facility, such as laundry, cleaning, and kitchen work. Daily work also includes social documentation to ensure quality and safe care, as well as reporting according to applicable laws and digital systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant or care assistant with experience.
• Has several years of experience working with people with dementia.
• Masters the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• Has good IT and documentation skills.

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have some form of dementia training, e.g., Silvia Sister, BPSD administrator, etc.
• Are vaccinated against Covid-19 as Danderyd Municipality strives for high vaccination coverage from a patient safety and quality perspective.

We are looking for nursing assistants/care assistants who are self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented. We expect you to be passionate about working with elderly people with dementia and want to make a difference by providing good care and service to our residents. It is very important that you are professional in your work and act professionally in your interactions with your colleagues, the residents, and their relatives. All staff at Klingsta care and nursing home are an important part of the residents' everyday lives; you make a difference by being empathetic, engaged, and present. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Referring to the fact that nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023, is a protected job title, you must be able to present valid proof of the right to use the job title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare before employment as a nursing assistant is offered.
