We are now looking for dedicated residential support workers for the summer who want to support our customers in their daily lives in a structured and goal-oriented way during the summer of 2025.

The residential support group is part of the social psychiatry unit in our own management. The group consists of 10 employees, one of whom is a part-time coordinator.

We are looking for you who see opportunities, have a positive view of people, and a strong commitment to helping others. The work requires you to be responsible and have personal maturity. You are a secure and stable person. You collaborate well with others and relate to customers in a responsive and smooth manner.

Your new job

As a residential support worker, you support customers based on their individual needs and provide assistance from a pedagogical approach. Together with the customer, you work towards the goal of helping them achieve an independent life. You provide support both at home and outside the home. There will be solo work as you work independently with customers.

You are expected to be engaged and see opportunities to find work methods that always provide customers with quality support. You are expected to be a flexible team player who sees all the unit's customers as your responsibility.

As a substitute residential support worker, you are responsible for:

• Performing residential support together with customers and based on the order.
• Writing social documentation.
• Reporting the time worked.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in care and support, e.g., residential support or home care. We prefer that you have a nursing assistant education or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have basic knowledge in psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. It is an advantage if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

You should have basic computer skills and experience with social journal documentation.

A driver's license is a requirement.

The work requires that you are self-sufficient but also appreciate working in a team. As a person, you are solution-focused and responsible. You are good at creating and maintaining good relationships. You have excellent collaboration skills. We place great value on personal suitability.

Before employment, you must provide a valid extract from the criminal record.
