About the position

We are part of Karolinska's Gastrointestinal Center and work to investigate and treat medical diseases of intestinal motility as well as rare gastrointestinal diseases. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday during daytime.

We have four nurses who are responsible for patient bookings, telephone advice, and their own nursing consultations. We also have a day care unit where we treat patients with infusions and injections. The work is varied and offers great independence. The job also includes weekend duties within inpatient care, one weekend out of four.

The position starts with a six-month probationary period.

• is curious and interested in gastrointestinal diseases and wants to help develop care for our patients
• is flexible and responsive in their work approach
• is good at meeting others in a respectful and professional manner
• is skilled at organizing and prioritizing both their own work and the clinic's needs while seeing the bigger picture and considering the broader perspective. You understand your role but always act with the best interests of the entire organization in mind.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience
• Speaks and writes good Swedish

Meritorious:

• Experience with TeleQ and 1177
• Experience from outpatient work
• Knowledge in gastroenterology
