We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to work with us at Judiska Hemmet. The position is preferably 100%, with 20% of the role as deputy unit manager. There will be a total of six nurses in the friendly nursing team. The nursing position is in one of the two somatic units, and you will be responsible for the care of 12 residents. The management consists of a business manager, a unit manager for the somatic unit, a unit manager for the dementia unit, and an administrative manager.

You can work independently and prioritize your tasks. Communication, both verbal and written, is an important part of your role, so we expect you to have good communication skills and be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a great advantage if you have leadership experience or any education such as organization and leadership, but it is not a requirement. We also wish that you have knowledge and preferably experience with dementia diseases. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, flexible, and have a genuine interest in people.

In your role as a nurse, you will perform the usual nursing tasks that occur in a special accommodation, such as assessing residents' health, carrying out health care measures, both urgent and planned. Providing care at the end of life, documentation, risk assessments in the national quality register Senior Alert, and registration in the Swedish Palliative register. You will have contact with relatives and carry out care planning, contact with doctors, and supervision of staff. All interventions are performed with the resident in focus – we work person-centered and interdisciplinary both within SoL and HSL. In the role of deputy unit manager, you will assist the unit and business managers in accordance with established goals and within given frameworks, ensure that routines are followed by care staff, log reviews, and reviews of HSL journals, etc.

The home is run by a non-profit organization, and we have a total of 76 apartments.
