JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a care assistant for a summer position in the Night Patrol over the summer of 2025. In this employment, you will have a fixed-term contract which means you will have a start date and an end date for this position.

As a care assistant, you provide support to individuals with various needs to facilitate and ensure good care and a secure everyday life. In this role, a good attitude is a given. In the position, you will plan both individually and in groups to tailor tasks according to the individual's needs and abilities according to the implementation plan. We utilize the strengths of each individual and you work to promote participation and self-determination, which contributes to a good quality of life for the individual.

The tasks within elderly care involve facilitating the daily life of individuals who, due to age or illness/functional impairment, need support to manage their everyday life. The main principle is to provide support and assistance based on the user's approved interventions, self-determination, and participation. The work consists of support and assistance with personal care and service tasks. The tasks also include documentation in our documentation system, LifeCare, and performing health care tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant or care assistant (health and care program or equivalent)
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

We prefer that you have experience in similar work.

We value that you as a person are responsible and act confidently and steadily. Other valuable qualities in the profession are creativity, responsiveness, and a positive attitude. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills, are calm, and can adapt your working methods based on the user's needs. It is also essential that you feel comfortable working independently, as a large part of the work is done on your own.

The job requires verbal and written communication and documentation, so you must be computer literate and proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you can speak another language, it is a plus.

The position is subject to ID checks and background checks.
