In the role of Purchaser at AP&T, you will work with interesting suppliers in an international environment. The role involves procuring both direct and indirect materials that AP&T needs to maintain its operations. You will have great freedom under responsibility and be a key player in the business and in the projects that you drive together with competent colleagues. The role offers a great variety in daily work. Travel may be required.

Your main responsibilities

• Procure direct and indirect materials and services
• Ensure the right delivery, quality, and price levels
• Actively participate in meetings both externally and internally
• Actively drive improvement efforts
• Manage quality deviations with suppliers
• Evaluate new suppliers

Your profile

To thrive in this role, you need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with suppliers. The purchasing department often collaborates with other parts of the organization, so being able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with different departments is a success factor. You appreciate driving your work independently and have a drive to want to change. Additionally, you have an analytical and solution-oriented ability and are flexible to new circumstances and demands within the business environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant education from a college/university in engineering, economics, logistics, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of MS Office (primarily Excel)
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in similar tasks
• Experience from several different business systems
• Previous experience in driving improvement efforts
• Technical interest/background
