About the Position

As a Product Manager, you will lead, plan, and execute product development work with a strong focus on product care. You will identify improvements in technology, functionality, and design, working on energy optimization, component selection, and design enhancements. This role is key to ensuring Getinge Storkök's continued position as a market-leading manufacturer of cooking pots. The position combines technical development work with practical quality monitoring and ownership of the product throughout its lifecycle.

You will work both strategically and operationally, in project form and with ongoing tasks, and have many points of contact, both internally and externally. In your team at the development department, there are two other colleagues. As a Product Manager, you will develop testing systems and ensure that new features and design solutions have undergone the necessary tests to ensure a safe and functional product. You are responsible for ensuring that standards, directives, and laws are followed, and that technical documentation is communicated both internally and externally.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, in Getinge, where both office and production are located, along with about 30 colleagues. A few business trips may occur. You will report to the CEO and the management team, of which you are also a part. Getinge Storkök is a flat organization with short decision-making paths and a family-like atmosphere.

About You

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree or other post-secondary education (YH, KY in a relevant field) and work experience in similar tasks. You have a very good technical understanding and knowledge of production processes and quality work. Experience in the manufacturing industry, machine construction, as well as the Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive is advantageous.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have good self-confidence and drive. You thrive in a role where you collaborate with several others, both internally and with external suppliers. With a flexible, unpretentious, and goal-oriented approach, you both complete and initiate projects. The possibility of new tasks arising and changing your planning is not a hindrance to your performance, but rather something you find developing.

A valid driver's license (B) and fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required for the position.
