Company Description
Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?
Now you have the opportunity to do so with us at Ringhals. We work together to make Sweden fossil-free within a generation. To achieve our goal, we need engaged employees who want to work for one of Sweden's largest electricity producers while contributing to a better climate on our planet.
About the Role
We are looking for a planning engineer/leadership for the Group - Operations and Maintenance
Are you interested in radiation and its impact on humans, the facility, and the environment, and do you have the willingness and interest to lead our most important task in acting as a protective barrier at Ringhals? As a planning engineer/leadership for Operational Protection operations and maintenance, you will be part of a team of 3 leaders who together lead the team in the area of operational protection, which includes both radiation protection and working environment.
The work spans all operations and includes, among other things:
- Planning resources within the operational area to support the organization from a protection perspective.
- You participate in overview and detailed work where you represent and safeguard the unit's interests.
- You are responsible for review and daily operational planning where protection aspects must be optimized against other operations. Collaboration with other technical branches occurs often, and you may need to act flexibly and prioritize the right measures.
- Documentation responsibility, which means you will work on developing, implementing, and managing routines for our operations.
The work is broad and involves both practical and administrative tasks. Acting as an instructor in the group's radiation protection training and being part of Ringhals's emergency preparedness is also included in the position.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and several years of professional experience in planning and coordination. Work experience in radiation protection within nuclear power plants is a requirement, and good knowledge of the facility is an advantage.
The work involves freedom under responsibility, so you need to be self-driven, meticulous, proactive, and communicative. To contribute to the unit's development, we want you to be creative, responsive, and positive about changes. It is also important that you enjoy working in a team and want to contribute to our cross-border work within Ringhals.
As a planning engineer/leadership, you have the ability to lead and stimulate engagement, collaboration, and good performance. You inspire and contribute to a good working environment and have safety at the center.
As a person, you plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You set and adhere to deadlines. You take initiative, start activities, and achieve results.
