What does the role offer?

As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing and assembly documentation for our generator sets and backup power systems. You will work on the design of mechanical solutions and ensure that the products are quality and production optimized. The role also includes preparing mechanical installations and supervising subcontractors during on-site installations.

You will work closely with other engineers and technicians in a developing environment where collaboration and innovation are central. Integrations, noise requirements, exhaust gases, and ventilation are issues you will face, and sometimes it is appropriate to physically visit the installation site to see how it looks for the best results.

Who are you?

We would like you to have:

Engineering education with a focus on mechanics, vehicles, or optimization, or equivalent experience.
Experience with 3D-CAD and 2D-CAD, preferably in SolidWorks.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Experience in the design of vehicles/vehicle equipment is an advantage.
Experience with Monitor ERP is an advantage.

Security classification:

The position is classified in a security category, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance and background check. The security clearance is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
