Your Role

Do you want to be part of something big and play an important role in the manufacturing of the Gripen? Take the chance to join our team as an assembly technician. As an assembly technician, you will be part of our dedicated team where you will have the opportunity to manufacture the fuselage of the Gripen through various tasks such as drilling, screwing, and riveting. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will closely collaborate with your team, providing you with a fantastic opportunity to grow and learn from experienced colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is ready to take on new challenges and thinks long-term about employment with us. Your journey with us starts with a comprehensive and exciting 12-week training program where you will receive all the tools and knowledge needed to take on the role!

The workplace is located in Tannefors Linköping and the work will be during daytime hours.

The important thing is that you are a positive team player with a sense of quality and an eye for detail. We see that you are a flexible and responsible person who is curious and open to developing your skills.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be able to work practically and be comfortable working with your hands. The job involves standing for most of the work shift and handling certain lifts and assembly tasks that can be physically demanding.

Other requirements for the position:

• Completed high school education with passing grades
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
