Summer Job at Scan in Halmstad

To Scan's production facility in Halmstad, we are looking for approximately 40 summer substitutes during the period of June-August 2025. With us, you will gain a valuable employment experience within one of Sweden's largest food productions. We are best known for our brands Scan, Pärsons, and Bullens. As a summer substitute with us, you may work with slicing, packaging, and labeling of meat and charcuterie products.

We are looking for someone who wants and can work 8 weeks during the summer. You are flexible, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy being active in your role. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and are used to maintaining a high pace, while also caring about both quality and safety. You should be able to work in a team and collaborate with others, as several departments require teamwork to achieve the best possible results. We place great importance on your personal qualities and value collaboration skills and self-motivation. If you have previous experience in industrial or food work and/or have a forklift license and experience, we consider it an advantage.

What You Can Expect from Us

As a summer substitute with us, you will be welcomed into a team with a responsible production leader. During your initial time with us, we will train you in safety, quality, and hygiene. The position is full-time, meaning a 40-hour work week with varying working hours. Scan values a good working environment, which is why health checks and random alcohol and drug tests may occur before and during your employment. The summer job period for 2025 starts in week 26 and runs until week 33; we prefer that you can work the entire period, 8 weeks.
