The Workplace

The principal area of Trelleborg Town Center consists of Liljeskolan F-9, Granlunda, and Solrosens preschool. The area is led by a principal together with 4 assistant principals and an administrative manager.

Liljeskolan is a F-9 school with approximately 450 students in the upper grades. We create tools for future competencies. IT will increasingly be a pedagogical learning tool, and we invest in raising educators' competence in line with future demands and opportunities. We have a well-functioning operation. You will be welcomed by a cheerful team with broad expertise and good cohesion. We help each other when needed and always have laughter close at hand.

We offer you a good working environment with stimulating tasks, professional development, and compensation for wellness activities. We have dedicated staff who handle investigations regarding bullying and absence. We have special time set aside each week for school development in subject groups. The role includes being a class mentor and participating in team work.

The school is centrally located with good commuting opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will teach our students in grades 7–9. You will create, together with your colleagues in the team, a good learning environment for each student. You will work as part of a team based on the clarified responsibilities outlined in the curriculum for compulsory school. This means that you, together with the principal and other colleagues, lead and develop the daily life of the school for increased goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in Math/Science.

We prefer that you have experience in the field and have experience with alternative learning tools. You are passionate about your teaching role and bring good ideas on how we can develop education. You engage with current research and are ready to drive this together with your team! You are proactive, open to change, able to engage others, and inspire innovative thinking.

As a person, you are development-oriented and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the big picture. You thrive in an environment that demands responsibility, flexibility, decisiveness, and social competence. You are a creative colleague who can offer students good learning environments, create good relationships, and have a positive demeanor. We place great importance on personal qualities.
