The Regional Area of West Properties construction and management has customer responsibility, acts as a representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and provides the region's operations with premises.

We are also responsible for the region's need for external rentals and technical security systems in these premises. Our customers are primarily in healthcare, but also in the cultural sector at folk high schools, agricultural high schools, as well as travel centers, bus and train depots throughout the Västra Götaland region. The External Rental unit currently has 17 employees working with project management, property management, and technical management. We are now looking for you who want to work as a Project Manager related to construction and monitoring assignments for external rentals!

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager with us, you will lead smaller and medium-sized construction projects in externally rented premises. Your area of responsibility will be to procure and exercise project monitoring in construction projects driven by external property owners in accordance with LOU. You will represent and safeguard our operations' interests in the construction project. When a specific project is described and formulated by the client and property manager with established conditions, you will participate and be responsible for the progress of all parts of the projects. During the execution of the project, you will be responsible for monitoring the projects based on the lease agreement. You will have support from and collaborate with our internal technical managers and property managers to ensure and maintain construction technical standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree as a civil engineer in construction or property management, or other education with equivalent experience. You have good experience in project management from the real estate industry, especially from the early stages of projects, and have knowledge of lease agreements in connection with renting premises. Thus, you have a good understanding of local lease agreements and possess negotiation skills. We would like you to have experience working with projects related to the adaptation of rented premises for larger operations. You have good knowledge of contract law and experience working in accordance with LOU.

To thrive in this role, you are meticulous, have a structured approach to work, and find it easy to organize your work and prioritize effectively. You are self-driven with the ability to make quick decisions and act on them. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and communication skills and enjoy working with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
