Description

We are now looking for a Lighting Master for our lighting group consisting of 18 people in the technical section.

In the group, we have various specialist competencies, of which you will be one of 8 lighting masters.

The lighting rig in its basic form consists, in addition to fixed spotlights, of about 150 moving fixtures, LED technology, projection technology, and more.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Lighting Master at GöteborgsOperan will focus on rehearsal and performance work, the process of production, light installations, and service.

You will have the opportunity to work with both national and international artistic teams in various productions from the idea stage to storage.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in performance work within lighting and video technology. You are confident in troubleshooting various lighting systems, networks, and performing rig service.

Knowledge of light programming is a merit. GöteborgsOperan uses ETC Eos.

We value experience from concerts, tours, and arena environments, but your theater and lighting technical skills are paramount.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.

Scheduling is possible six days a week, including days, evenings, and weekends. National and international tours occur.
