What does the role entail?

As a Product Designer at Jollyroom, you will be at the forefront of our product development. Together with our innovative colleagues, you will lead the creation of new, exciting products from concept to reality in the world of Children and Baby.

You are a master at combining function and aesthetics, always with the user in focus.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who not only has qualifications but also the right attitude! Here are some things that define you:

• You have a design brain that never rests, always filled with new ideas and creative solutions.
• Your expertise spans both soft and hard materials – from fabric to plastic and wood.
• You have a sharp visual ability and can transform ideas into impressive designs.
• Innovation is your middle name. You love to come up with new ways to solve problems and keep track of the latest trends.
• 3D software and the Adobe suite are your main tools, and you master them like a pro.
• You have solid experience in product development, especially in retail.
• You have a sense of patterns and colors, know what is in right now, and are always on-trend.
• You have a relevant higher education that provides you with a solid foundation.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and conceptualize design ideas with the team, and take them through the entire production process to the final product.
• Create visuals, detailed instructions, and prototypes to bring your ideas to life.
• Work closely with our Purchasing Team to ensure a smooth production transition.
• Continuously improve our existing products and be on the lookout for new bestsellers.
• Identify new business opportunities and create products that make our customers' lives easier and more enjoyable.
• Ensure that our products meet all relevant regulations and standards in our active markets.
