We are now seeking 2 specialist physicians in general medicine to complement our district physician group!

The Kolmården Health Center is located about 20 kilometers outside Norrköping, near the E4.

You can easily reach us by car, bus, or Östgötapendeln.

Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 emergency centers, the Finspång Health Center, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

We are a small, cozy health center located in Krokek in beautiful Kolmården. Cooperation and a good atmosphere among the different professions are guiding principles for us. We have both rural and urban areas in our region. We are currently well staffed with training physicians, district nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants, and in addition, we have medical administrators, a CBT therapist, and a rehabilitation coordinator employed to support the operation. We also have a Child Health Care Unit, are responsible for a nursing home with forty places, and oversee the municipal home care services. In the building, there are also physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and maternal health care with whom we have a good collaboration to provide our residents with the best possible care.

Job Description

We offer you a varied job at the medical reception, Child Health Care, nursing home, and home care. In addition to patient-oriented work, you will be needed to supervise our students and training physicians. Based on your experience and competence as well as your wishes, these tasks can be distributed according to your interests and your desire to develop.

You will have the opportunity to control much of your own tasks depending on your background and competence, for example, the possibility to work largely with supervision. We also work to take care of you as an employee, and we have a good routine regarding scheduling and working hours where we care about our employees' workload and ensure that you have enough time allocated for administration. We also hope that you are interested in developing the work with a permanent physician.

Work Group

We have a good working environment that is appreciated by our employees and patients. Since many of us have worked here for a long time and our citizens have chosen the health center as their care provider for many years, we see continuity as a natural part of our work. Our goal moving forward is for our patients to have a designated physician with a reasonable workload.

About You

The requirement for this position is that you are a specialist in general medicine. Adjacent specialties with an interest in general medicine that the employer considers equivalent are also of interest to us.

You have Swedish language skills at least equivalent to documented level C1, as this is a prerequisite for being able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently.
