We are looking for an engaged Sales Manager who shares our belief that knowledge and joy should be accessible to everyone through the world of literature and our other products offered to the book market and toy trade.
Förlagssystem offers a wide range of logistics services, and our largest customers are book publishers, online and brick-and-mortar bookstores, as well as the toy trade. Förlagssystem has Sweden's widest range of books and a broad selection of other products that fit into a bookstore. We are growing and have our customer base both in Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region. Our headquarters is located in Stockholm, and our logistics facility is situated in Falun.
Your Role
As Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to increase the company's sales and market share by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, and working closely with buyers to ensure a smooth supply chain. You will develop pricing strategies, manage our campaigns, and oversee the trade shows we participate in. Additionally, you will maintain and develop our B2B webshop.
Together with your purchasing colleagues, you will have margin responsibility for our Wholesale operations. You will report to our Purchasing and Assortment Manager.
Who You Are
· Extensive experience in sales and business development within retail.
· Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Analytical skills to understand market trends and competitive landscape.
· Team player with the ability to collaborate closely with buyers and other departments.
· A cheerful and positive colleague who spreads joy
· You are proficient in Excel and BI (we use Power BI)
