About the Workplace

The Aktiv Primary Care Rehabilitation team has been providing rehabilitation for the population in Hässelby-Vällingby since 1995.

The team consists of dietitians, physiotherapists, specialist physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, totaling 12 people who together develop and are responsible for the operations while helping and supporting each other.

We are now looking for a dietitian with an interest in primary care, who wants to join our team and help us contribute to a workplace where everyone can develop and thrive while providing good care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities

Working in primary care means that you will work with patients of all ages who have lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, dysphagia, allergies/intolerances, eating and swallowing difficulties, as well as children with feeding aversions and selectivity. This means that the work is very varied and constantly developing. While we strive for everyone to be able to meet most patients/diagnoses, there is also the opportunity to specialize in an area you find more interesting, as long as it benefits our patients.

The work is carried out through assessment, treatment, and counseling at the clinic and possibly also through home visits. The job includes prescribing nutritional products (such as nutritional supplements and enteral feeding) as well as more administrative tasks such as booking, referral management, and coordination with other healthcare providers, etc.

You will plan your work together with the rest of the team. As a dietitian, you are an important part of our patients' rehabilitation.

Qualifications

You should be a licensed dietitian with Swedish certification, preferably with experience in the field, and have good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in primary care, have experience documenting in the Take Care journal system, and/or speak additional languages and/or have knowledge of different food cultures.

To perform home visits, you are required to have a B driver's license (manual transmission). When working in patients' homes, you must also be able to handle environments with pets and not be sensitive to smoke.
