RESPONSIBILITIES

As a subscriber technician with us, you will play an important role in our future water and sewer supply in Köping. Your main task will be to handle connections to the municipal water and sewer network (VA). The work with water and sewer is crucial for us as a municipality to have the most sustainable VA supply possible, both in the short and long term.

Your tasks may include answering subscription inquiries, participating in connections, and preparing documentation to calculate connection fees. You will gather documentation for customer agreements, consult and handle general customer inquiries, as well as document and follow up. You will work both in the office and in the field. The role of subscriber technician involves a lot of contact, and you will work closely with our customers, primarily property owners and businesses, but also in subscriber matters together with operational staff and other departments within the municipality. The inquiries may involve both technical, legal, and economic issues within VA, where you and your colleagues work to ensure a long-term and legally secure handling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a suitable technical education or vocational training or equivalent experience that the employer deems comparable. Since you will be handling legal matters, you need to have an interest in reading legal texts and precedents in practice. Furthermore, an understanding/interest in reading and interpreting drawings and maps related to the work is required. As you will be working with customer contact in this position, we prefer that you have similar experience. The computer will be your working tool, so good IT skills (Office package) are required. If you also know CAD, it is an advantage. As a person, you are clear and communicative with the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Since driving between different geographical locations is part of the role, a B driver's license is required.
