Job Description

Then you might be the technical manager we are looking for at our office in Lund! As a technical manager, you are an important part of your team, which also consists of energy and operations engineers as well as technical specialists. Your focus is to ensure efficient delivery and drive the work with sustainability and digitalization, with the customer experience at the center. Together with the group manager, you work to lead the team forward and serve as a sounding board when needed. The role also involves having a technical leadership role in your projects. You will be based at our office in Lund and report to the department manager T&S.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities: 

  • Planning of maintenance, supervision, and care, including regulatory requirements. 
  • Management and improvement of digital operational systems and working methods. 
  • Collaboration with the property unit regarding budgeting, follow-up, and financial reporting. 
  • Maintenance of legal requirements and certifications (e.g., environmental building). 
  • Depending on delegation from the department manager, responsibilities may include operational performance, troubleshooting, and services to tenants. 
  • You actively contribute to the development of technical operations and sustainability within an innovative and forward-looking organization. 

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of technical manager, we see that you have: 

  • Post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction technology, or similar. Alternatively, you have relevant work experience. 
  • Experience in the industry, preferably with commercial premises. 
  • Leadership experience as a team leader, in project management, or similar. 
  • Previous experience with budgeting and maintenance systems. 
  • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have: 

  • Previous experience working in laboratory facilities as a technical manager.

It is important that you are available to others and provide support when needed. You need to feel confident in your way of leading and delegating others and also be able to make quick decisions. In such situations, it is important to have a good understanding of how both your own and others' decisions affect the entire organization, as well as being able to think commercially. Furthermore, we would like you to be accustomed to and enjoy working in a customer-oriented role, both towards our tenants and with other internal and external parties.
