Who are we?

Råsslaskolan is a well-functioning school for grades 4-9, beautifully located in Kolmården, just outside Norrköping with good train and bus connections. Here at the school, 510 students and 40 teachers work together with other school staff to create a safe environment that encourages learning.

We are organized into grade working teams and divided into two school units, 4-6 and 7-9. These units collaborate closely as a school regarding prioritized goals, educational efforts, support structures, pedagogical forums, subject meetings, and exchanges between working teams. The school is led by the principal together with the vice principal.

In the 23/24 school year, 94% of our ninth graders graduated with eligibility for upper secondary school.

In the spring of 2021, we moved into a brand new school building where grades 6-9 are housed with new specialty classrooms. Our craft classrooms are also located in this building.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a substitute subject teacher in textile crafts for grades 7-9. The position also includes mentorship in grade 7. You will be responsible for teaching and planning in your subject.

You will follow up on students' development and goal fulfillment in collaboration with the working team and the school's student health team.

You will actively participate in the school's and working team's various joint tasks, contributing your own ideas, experiences, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license and experience in the subject as well as in the school environment. We would like you to have experience working as a mentor.

You are a clear leader and find it easy to build good relationships and trust with parents, students, and colleagues.

We see that you have a desire to develop in your work and are well-versed in governing documents and have experience working with digital tools.

As a person, you are calm and stable and have a flexible working style where you easily adapt to changing circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks.

You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and, in collaboration with the student, develop these.
