About the position

In the role of Information Architect, you will primarily be responsible for capturing the organization's need for support in structuring data and information. Based on this, you will develop and ensure that concept, information, and data models align with business capabilities and processes and can be used to develop IT solutions.

The position will include:

• Concept, information, and data modeling
• Leading workshops and facilitating work to analyze concepts and information
• Defining datasets, keys, and metadata
• Documentation of concept models and data models in EA tools
• Preparing materials relevant for master data management and master data processes as well as for data quality processes
• Participating and supporting in architecture governance work

You will have the opportunity to develop within the digitalization journey that Svenska kraftnät has initiated and exchange experiences with colleagues who have worked in the industry for a long time. As an information architect with us, you are important for the development and management of our structural capital and for creating understanding of information architecture among relevant stakeholders. You collaborate with other roles and are involved early in various development initiatives and provide support in different phases during the development process.

As an Information Architect, you will be part of a team of other information architects. The team belongs to the Architecture and Data Governance unit, which consists of about 20 employees and consultants. The unit's area of responsibility is to provide an overarching vision for Svenska kraftnät's IT and information architecture as well as a cohesive data and information governance.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills as you will be in contact with several different stakeholders and teams. As a person, you are both structured and analytical in your work approach, which is important for handling information that is often critical to the business. You have a knack for working towards goals and achieving results to move forward in your work.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent.

You also have:

• Several years of work experience in information architecture in accordance with established architecture methods, tools, models, and processes in recent years
• Several years of work experience in business and/or IT development
• Experience leading workshops for information modeling
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:

• architectural work within a government agency or other critical societal operations or operations with very high security requirements
• modeling tools/EA tools, e.g., EA Sparx
• large organizations with many systems and varying data volumes
• standards relevant to the energy sector such as CIM (Common Information Model for the energy sector), BIM (Building Information Model), and/or ISO 55000

It is also advantageous if you are a certified information architect, business architect, or IT architect.
