The operation includes both open and round-the-clock care and is divided into subspecialized assessment and treatment units that assist patients in Jämtland County who are in need of specialist psychiatry.

Our psychiatric care departments are distributed as follows:

• Psychiatric emergency department 1b focusing on acute psychiatry and two beds for child & adolescent psychiatry
• Psychiatric care department 4a primarily focuses on psychoses and eating disorder care.
• Psychiatric care department 4b primarily focuses on affective and geriatric conditions.

In total, the area has about 270 employees who help our patients with mental health issues.

We are looking for you who are a qualified nurse or nursing assistant or alternatively a student as follows:

• Nursing student
• Medical student
• Psychology student
• Social work student

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in round-the-clock care, you work closely with the patient and provide the support the patient needs in their daily life, personal care, and social contacts.

As a nurse in round-the-clock care, you lead and distribute the nursing work and coordinate and prioritize interventions for the patient in their care situation.

We work towards good relationships with each other, patients, relatives, and care neighbors. With us, you work together with other professional categories such as doctors, social workers, and psychologists.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed nurse
• Trained nursing assistant
• Experience in psychiatric work is an advantage.
• Great consideration is given to personal suitability.
• We prefer that you are used to working both independently and in teams and have good collaboration skills.
• It is also advantageous if you can work at least eight consecutive weeks during our summer period, which extends from week 23 to week 35.
