Your New Job

As a chef with us, you will work daytime preparing food from scratch, as well as preparing special diets and food with adjusted consistency. The job includes all common tasks in a large kitchen such as salad preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, self-control, as well as serving and ordering goods. We offer you a varied job with a contractual salary and an introduction to the work.

You will also be responsible for involving clients in the kitchen and to some extent lead and guide them.

Your Qualifications

• You have completed a high school education in restaurant and food or equivalent adult education as a chef, along with previous experience working as a chef.
• Previous experience in large-scale cooking is an advantage.
• Previous experience in mentoring others in the kitchen is an advantage.
• You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing as you need to communicate with citizens and colleagues, as well as write and read notes in your daily work.

As a person, you are responsible and understand the importance of quality and maintaining good service. You are a team player who collaborates easily and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Naturally, you have a great interest in cooking.

Good to Know

The recruitment is for a summer temporary position during the period of week 28-33. Full-time, working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. There is an opportunity for hourly work both before and after your summer temporary position. Start and end will be agreed upon with the recruiting manager.

In your application, please clearly state any previous experience and internships you may have. For a smooth recruitment process, we also ask you to attach employer certificates/working certificates and study certificates or a transcript of completed courses in your ongoing education. Selection will be ongoing, and interviews will take place from mid-March.

Before employment, a background check must be submitted from the National Police Board's criminal and suspicion register according to the provisions of the Act (2007:171) on background checks for such homes for care or accommodation that receive children. Please bring this to an interview.
