We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a trained caregiver and have good knowledge of Swedish. Previous experience working in child or adult psychiatry, or other experience working with children, is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have experience with the Cosmic journal system and if you speak multiple languages.
We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are service-oriented, relationship-building, and enjoy taking initiative. You have the ability to see the whole picture and understand the context, which gives you a good overview of the larger perspective in your work.
This is what you will work with
For us, person-centered care is a given. In the department, we actively work on developing patient participation, care and nursing plans, and concrete nursing measures. We care for patients in the acute phase and have six care places. Patients are cared for by staff in teams consisting of caregivers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and doctors, as well as medical secretaries.
As a caregiver, you are part of psychiatric nursing. This may involve supportive conversations, psychoeducation, a lot of collaboration with parents, and addressing each child's unique needs. Documentation in the Cosmic journal system is also included. Care is provided in close collaboration with child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient care, social services, and pediatric medicine in the region.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement, with working hours scheduled for night shifts. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
