KommunRehab is a unit with occupational therapists and physiotherapists/physical therapists as well as rehabilitation assistants. We are missing a physiotherapist/physical therapist in our team who wants to contribute and develop the business towards common goals together with us. The workgroup has broad rehabilitation competence, both employees and management. We are solution-focused, support each other, and have good dialogue together.

Working as a physiotherapist/physical therapist in the municipality is a varied and independent job, and you have great freedom to plan your workday. In close collaboration with occupational therapists and other professional categories in the business, you will contribute to enabling individuals to live an active, social, and meaningful life on their terms. We have a well-structured teamwork in all our operations.

Job Responsibilities

We offer you the opportunity to work in several areas as the physiotherapist/physical therapist works with home care in the municipality's special accommodations within elderly care, LSS, and social psychiatry as well as in ordinary housing.

• Based on a health-promoting and rehabilitative perspective, assess and evaluate the need for physiotherapy/physical therapy and implement appropriate measures accordingly.
• Guide/train care and nursing staff and collaborate in teams.
• Prescribe aids according to the prescription process.
• Document in the journal system.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist and have an interest in meeting and working with people in various situations.
• You should be able to work independently and take responsibility in your professional role.
• You should have experience working with rehabilitation for individuals in their home environment.
• You should have experience working with individuals who are the target group in our operations.
• You should also be flexible and easily adapt to new situations regarding your job tasks.
• You are attentive and open and show respect to everyone you meet in your professional role.
• We will place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to collaborate with other staff categories in the business.
• We expect you to have a driver's license and the competence to work with IT support and good computer skills.
