At Vattenfall, we have decided to build a future where everyone can choose fossil-free ways to transport, produce, and live. Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping is now looking for an Instrument Technician who wants to help shape tomorrow's climate-smart society.

About the Role

Vattenfall Värme in Nyköping operates the combined heat and power plant Idbäcksverket. We supply approximately 95 percent of the residents in central Nyköping with heat and electricity and contribute to the municipality's sustainability goals by promoting renewable heating and reducing the use of fossil oil. As an Instrument Technician with us, you will play an important role in our maintenance work by maintaining a safe facility with good operating conditions and high availability.

You will be responsible for:

• Short- and long-term planning of instrument maintenance
• Emergency corrective maintenance
• Calibration of field instrumentation
• Administrative work
• Project work

As an Instrument Technician, you will belong to a maintenance department with a competent team of 9 people, but you will also collaborate with other groups at the facility such as Operations and Safety/Health.

Requirements

• Relevant technical education in areas such as Control & Regulation Instruments, Automation Technology, or Electrical Engineering
• Good experience in Instrument-Automation work
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B is required.

It is advantageous in our selection if you have experience in:

• The professions of Industrial Electrician and Automation Technician (as team members assist each other)
• Automation systems ABB 800xA.
• Emission analysis systems for air and water
• Calibration databases
• Operational systems, such as SAP
