As a Procurement Officer at JU, you will have the opportunity to drive procurement projects with significant responsibility. You will join a workplace where your colleagues are passionate about their work, and we hope you want to be part of the team where you will be one of two Procurement Officers in the organization. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be organizationally placed in the Finance and Procurement Department, where you will work closely with several departments and functions within JU, such as legal, archives, data protection, registration, and IT.

In the role of Procurement Officer at JU, you are responsible for driving the entire procurement process. This includes the whole process starting with needs and market analysis and continuing with contract signing, including follow-up. Your main tasks involve conducting procurements, renewed competitive tenders, and direct procurements. Provide ongoing information and support to the organization in contract and procurement issues. Contribute to the development of the procurement function.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and likes to take a leading role in processes where you work together with other colleagues based on structured planning. We value a solution-focused working method and good collaboration skills. We see that you are confident, unpretentious, and interested in making good deals. You enjoy meeting people from various parts of the organization and building networks through trusting relationships.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a relevant university degree or equivalent post-secondary education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You also have:

• experience in conducting procurements and good knowledge of LOU
• good knowledge of the Office suite, primarily Excel and Word
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English
• the ability to lead meetings and drive procurement processes
• flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

It is an advantage if you have experience with the procurement tool Mercell TendSign. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We offer a permanent full-time position with individual salary setting where a probationary period may apply. The salary range for this position is around 35 - 50 tkr and depends on experience and education. Working hours are regulated with flexible hours and the possibility of remote work.
