Background

Sever Pharma Solution has grown and expanded significantly. Ten years ago, we had about 150 employees; today, we are nearly 300 in Malmö. We have hired a lot of new staff and invested heavily in facilities and new equipment. Significant growth always presents an organizational challenge. There is still much in our routines and processes that we can develop and improve. We are looking for someone with knowledge, experience, leadership, and the willingness to manage the current situation as well as lead us towards the desired state.

We are currently looking for 2-3 Production Leaders. This involves both replacement recruitment and increasing production on several lines to meet the growing demand. The shift patterns vary between departments/roles, between 2-shift and 3-shift. Very roughly, you will have full responsibility for Team/Shift Leaders and about 20 operators.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As a Production Leader, you have direct personnel responsibility for your department. You are responsible for planning, leading, and distributing work within the group, in and between shifts. You have workplace safety responsibility, investigate and manage incidents within production, review and write relevant production documents, and are responsible for preparing and participating in regulatory and customer inspections. You report to the Production Manager.

The role also includes:

• Ensuring that staff have the right training/competence and prerequisites to meet set and increasing demands
• Writing instructions (SOPs) and change requests and training operators
• Ensuring that GMP is maintained and that work within your area follows cGMP
• Actively working on improvement initiatives (OpEx)
• Recruiting, introducing, and instructing department staff
• Responsibility for workplace safety, conducting risk assessments, and performing safety rounds
• Reporting manufacturing data and KPIs
• Maintaining preventive maintenance and calibration programs in collaboration with our technicians
• Purchasing, in consultation with the maintenance and purchasing departments, of machines, spare parts, consumables, and other necessary items for production.

In short, you are responsible for personnel, safety, delivery, economy, and quality in your department.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with solid leadership experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent GMP-controlled production. Post-secondary education is required, preferably in chemistry/biomedicine or equivalent. We consider it a merit if you have experience in production during project phases, Tech Transfers, working in cleanroom environments/asceptic production, and/or have worked with polymers. We see that you have good experience with LEAN and continuous improvements.

It is important that you are operationally close and enjoy being out in the operations with a good ability to switch perspectives between detail and the big picture. You work efficiently, organized, and structured. You are confident in your decision-making and have a good ability to prioritize. You are naturally motivated and have the ability to inspire and motivate those around you towards common goals. You have a positive and forward-leaning can-do attitude. We see that you have a good ability to interact and collaborate with other departments and a burning technical interest.

You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We expect you to have good IT maturity and be an experienced system user.
