ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be actively involved in development projects focusing on simplicity, scalability, repeatability, and quality to ensure an optimal production setup. You will be part of cross-functional project teams together with other areas of expertise such as software and mechanics. The teams face new technical challenges with each new generation of products, such as advanced optics, sound, radar, and thermal technologies.

Your responsibilities:

• Electrical design of machines for the production of Axis products
• Building and ordering prototypes
• PCBA electronic schematic design for circuit boards for machines
• Soldering and other practical tasks on prototypes
• Travel to production sites is included in the position, approximately 2-4 trips per year.

You will be part of a team that is unpretentious and supports each other while sharing knowledge. The team consists of four engineers.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who either comes directly from university or has worked a few years in the engineering profession. Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or similar
• English proficiency in speaking and writing

Meritorious:

• Work experience in the field
• Experience with Eplan ECAD software
• Knowledge of CE marking
• Experience in developing production equipment and experience in optics or metrology
• Swedish proficiency in speaking and writing
