Our client is looking for an Export Control Specialist who wants to help create the best conditions through IT!
Part of their mission also includes advising their business areas on issues that combine export control and IT.

In addition, they also work on managing the complexity of export control in relation to new technologies such as cloud-based data processing and storage (e.g., Azure, AWS) and artificial intelligence. With the increasing use of cloud and AI, their team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing export control policies that ensure compliance while enabling innovation. The client is actively expanding their knowledge in cloud and AI to stay ahead and provide the best possible guidance to their IT colleagues.

Your profile:

You enjoy problem-solving and have a good sense and skills for both the overall focus of the task and down to the detail level. Taking personal responsibility for your work is a given for you, and you do this by driving your tasks in a methodical and systematic way. A fundamental requirement for success in the role is your willingness and ability to collaborate with others. You are skilled at listening and identifying needs to then support and guide in the best possible way.

Your responsibilities:

• Guide and support the organization
• Automation and implementation of IT support systems
• Export control classification of hardware, software, and information is carried out in accordance with laws and regulations
• Permit applications and reporting to Swedish and foreign authorities
• Formulate clear guidelines and processes for export control
• Monitor and follow up Swedish and foreign export control regulations

Requirements:

• University degree in technology or law or other relevant education
• Experience and knowledge in export control
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience and knowledge in the technical areas of AI and Cloud

Other:

Location: Gothenburg
Travel within Sweden may occur in the role.
This is a project employment with NXT Interim Gothenburg AB for a one-year hired consultant that may be extended. We apply collective agreements. This is a consulting role with placement in a defense-sensitive environment, which imposes high demands on security and integrity. Security clearance is a requirement for this position, and you must be a Swedish citizen to qualify.
