Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We have a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your mission

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. We have a structured way of working and a very good atmosphere in our teams. Your tasks will consist of regular reception work as well as opportunities for supervision of students and AT/ST physicians. Based on your wishes, we also have assignments in MHV, BVC, SÄBO, and Tierp Emergency Reception. The position as a district physician within Region Uppsala includes working at our emergency receptions and standby reception.

Your competence

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. You see the challenge and joy in following your patients through all stages of life.

As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively. To be successful in the job, you need to be flexible in your working methods. Your ability to collaborate and your willingness to contribute to the development of the organization will be beneficial to us.

Our operations

Tierp Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting opportunities. From Uppsala, both trains and buses run every half hour during rush hour. The health center is within walking distance from the station. We have about 19,450 registered patients and we are about 100 employees working in teams with all services within the health center's mission, including the emergency reception. Our patients are both young and old and live in Tierp and the surrounding rural areas.

The health center belongs to the Close Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
