Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting receives ongoing inquiries from our clients for skilled and experienced construction managers.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with inquiries from our clients and contractors. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's location.

The Assignment

As a construction manager, you will be involved in the project's various stages from planning, design, execution, and until handover to the client. The construction manager is the contact person for contractors and client representatives during the construction period. This means that the construction manager's task is to represent the client by supporting, following up, and reporting the progress of the construction project to the project manager and/or client regarding: schedules, costs, quality, safety, work environment, and environmental issues.

You will lead all phases of the production stage, prepare tender documents, procure contractors, and be responsible for: construction meetings, quantity regulation meetings, economic meetings (change order management), and coordination meetings.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following experiences:

• Good knowledge of the earthworks and construction process and documented experience in planning, design management, cost tracking, forecasting, quality, safety, and environmental management, procurement, and production.
• You should have worked as a construction manager/site manager for at least 5 years, preferably more, within earthworks and construction (preferably with experience from water and sewage or rail projects).
• Desirable experience working with or for the Swedish Transport Administration or other public authorities.
• You must have qualifications as a work environment coordinator, BAS-P, and BAS-U.
• You have good knowledge of contract and consulting law, AB04/ABT06, as well as AMA and MER construction.
• A significant advantage if you have experience with concrete, preferably concrete class 1, ideally 2. Experience from water and sewage projects is also desirable.
• You have a civil engineering degree or equivalent technical education or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience.
