What does the role entail? Facilities and Systems - Installation, Operations & Maintenance is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of telecommunication security systems at our 10 airports. We are transitioning from outsourcing to an internal organization and are looking for a leader for the new operations and maintenance team.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, shape, and develop the team
• Budget, personnel, and delivery responsibility
• Staffing and operations planning
• Improvement work and long-term management plans
• Ensure the team has the right training and competence
• Plan and coordinate work with technicians and other disciplines
• Conduct employee reviews and set individual goals
• Manage workplace environment remarks and regulatory requirements

You will report to the unit manager for aviation operational systems and lead a national team of about 15 employees. You will work closely with group leaders for installation and IT management. Who are you? We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in telecommunication security systems and operational management. You are communicative, strategic, and analytical, can make quick decisions in emergencies, and have a long-term focus on development. You have good knowledge of security technology, legal requirements, and standards.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a leadership role with personnel responsibility
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in security
• Good knowledge of Office 365
• Higher education/university degree

Meritorious

• Experience in operational management around the clock
• Experience in IT processes
