ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is looking for you who want to develop in a role as a project engineer on behalf of Trafikverket. As a project engineer, you will support two project managers with administrative and coordinating tasks within road maintenance projects. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

You will work closely with two project managers on projects related to road maintenance. You will have a wide range and variation in your tasks, where you will quickly have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility.

You will, for example:

• Assist the project managers in all relevant project management tasks in terms of implementation and documentation
• Assist the project managers with project follow-up regarding time, cost, quality, safety, work environment, and environment, as well as forecasting final costs
• Participate and take minutes at meetings and contacts within the projects and with authorities
• Establish trusting relationships with contractors, the public, and other stakeholders in the projects
• Review and follow up on, for example, referrals and management matters and control programs

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a university degree of at least 180 credits in the construction and civil engineering sector, or equivalent education and experience that Trafikverket deems relevant for the assignment (degree certificate must be presented)
• Has previously worked with administrative tasks
• Has extensive technical knowledge and interest in working with community development
• Has strong drive and the willingness to quickly take on responsibility with a fearless attitude towards new tasks
• Has very good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
• Has good knowledge of both English and Swedish as communication will take place in both languages
