In this role, you will be based at their office in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm.

Job responsibilities

As a site manager at Sh bygg, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from smaller construction contracts to larger general contracts. Regardless of the size of the project, you are expected to lead the entire process, from planning to execution, and ensure that projects are carried out efficiently, according to schedule and budget. In the role of site manager, you will work to ensure the highest quality in the construction process and be ultimately responsible for the project's economy and execution. You will lead and coordinate the work for your team, where you will collaborate with foremen, construction engineers, and project managers.

You will work on both management and follow-up of projects to achieve set goals and ensure profitability in the projects. You will participate in planning and design meetings, as well as conduct regular time and cost follow-ups, and report to the project manager. Customer satisfaction is a priority, and you are responsible for keeping the budget and ensuring that quality and environmental goals are met according to applicable laws and regulations.

• Leading and coaching employees to ensure a good work environment and well-being at the workplace
• Contact with clients and other partners
• Ensuring that the project team has the right information and knowledge in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Purchasing materials and subcontractors
• Quality, environmental, and work environment responsibility in the projects
• Establishing and reporting project forecasts

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Extensive work experience from a similar leadership role in the construction sector, with experience managing larger complex contracts
• Experience in contract and construction law
• Good economic understanding and knowledge
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

To thrive in this role, you should be a self-driven person with a business-like, meticulous, and structured way of working. You enjoy being in a leadership role and see it as an important task to coach, support, and develop your employees. You delegate responsibility in projects and follow up to ensure activities are carried out. You will have many points of contact internally within the group and externally with clients and other stakeholders, so you need to have good communication skills and high social competence.
