ISS has an exciting collaboration with a customer in the automotive industry with multiple sites in Sweden. We are now looking for a Property Technician for our operations and maintenance assignment with this customer in Braås. About the role
As a Property Technician, you will work with a variety of tasks within the framework of our operations and maintenance assignment with the customer, together with the rest of the team. Through your expertise in property technology, you will be responsible for the technical function in the customer's properties by delivering quality in a safe manner. You will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, service, and corrective maintenance of the buildings and the technical systems of the properties. You will become an important and valuable part of the on-site team. The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. It is a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. The work is scheduled during daytime Monday to Friday, but there may be on-call duties and shift work.
Your responsibilities include:
- Inspection and maintenance of technical operating systems and properties.
- Primary corrective maintenance - troubleshooting and resolution.
- Long-term planned maintenance in the properties.
- Work with operation, development, and optimization of the property's systems.
- Contact with subcontractors, obtaining quotes, ordering, and following up on completed work.
- Ongoing work with improvements and some documentation.
- Fire protection work - facility manager for fire alarms & sprinklers.
- Participate in various customer projects.
- Perform assignment-based work beyond the contract.
- Be an active initiator in daily work to improve and develop our delivery, both internally and towards the customer.
You are responsible for ensuring that the customer's premises and properties convey a comprehensive experience of a safe, attractive, and sustainable workplace for employees and visitors. Therefore, it is important that you are service-minded and enjoy adapting and ensuring a workplace that the customer's employees appreciate.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with relevant education and/or experience in the operation, maintenance, and care of properties - preferably within the industrial sector. You are comfortable in a production environment.
Furthermore, we see that you have a good general technical knowledge of, for example, electricity, HVAC, cooling, heating, energy monitoring, systematic fire protection work, and inspection reviews. It is considered an advantage if you have crane, lift, and forklift licenses, hot work certification, and fall protection training. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
You are a person who takes great responsibility for your work and is driven to perform the various tasks professionally with high quality. Furthermore, you are meticulous and methodical in your execution. You can prioritize and are willing to make your own decisions in stressful situations. You have good communication skills and communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good IT skills - e.g., Microsoft Office and case management systems. You also enjoy the administrative tasks that are part of the daily work.
