Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work as a sub-project manager in the procurement area, focusing on driving and developing procurement strategies for technically complex projects. You will be a central link between project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure both competitive terms and long-term business. Some examples of responsibilities include:

• Project lead and coordinate procurement efforts in close dialogue with development and production departments.
• Evaluate and optimize the supplier portfolio from both technical and commercial perspectives.
• Participate in tender work, calculations, and development of strategic procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with international and national contacts to develop business relationships and negotiate contract terms.

Qualifications (Must-haves)

• At least 7 years of experience in strategic procurement and/or project management.
• Relevant university degree in technology or economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship).
• Strong analytical and business understanding of technically advanced products and supplier terms.

Meritorious (Nice to have)

• Experience in procurement within high-tech or defense-related industries.
• Project management certification or further education in procurement/supply chain.
• Good collaboration skills in international projects and experience with supplier contacts outside Sweden.
