This is what the job is about

Elme has a strong order intake and is continuously developing its technology organization to better meet the increasing demand. We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Electronics and Software. Our technology organization is divided into two main product areas, each with a product owner. Cross-functionally, we have Lead Engineers who are specialists in their fields and collaborate with product owners and employees in their respective product flows.

The Lead Engineer is responsible for all technical and design-related issues for the products' electrical systems and their components. This involves close communication with other technology groups. As a Lead Engineer, you are a specialist in your area and an important resource for the respective Product Owner. You report directly to the Head of Technology.

This position suits you if you are passionate about technology, appreciate deepening your knowledge in your field (electronics and control systems), have a responsible approach, find it easy to collaborate and communicate, and perhaps have worked as an electrical designer for a few years and want to take the next step in your development through a system ownership responsibility.

Qualifications you need to have

• You have a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you also have this competence

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Good competence in CAD design of electrical systems
• Competence in CAN-bus J1939

As a person, you are clear, honest, a good listener, and a good team player. Since you will be acting in a reactive manner daily while also planning more long-term activities, you need to be good at creating structure in your tasks. As you will be working in a broad network of contacts, it is required that you find it easy to collaborate and have a natural leadership ability.
