About the position

As a pathologist, you will work in a dynamic and forward-thinking team focusing on both general pathology and specific subspecialties. Particularly interesting areas include:

• Dermatopathology and gastrointestinal pathology
• Head and neck pathology
• Cytology

You will also have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases in areas such as the gastrointestinal tract, urology, soft tissue and bone, gynecology, breast pathology, and molecular pathology.

Your responsibilities will include diagnostic assessments, macroscopic evaluations, autopsies, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences, where you collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure the highest possible diagnostic precision.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a modern, digitized pathology department where digital tools and new technologies, including AI, are an integral part of daily work. You will also have the chance to participate in academic work, including research projects, quality development, and case reviews both locally and internationally.

Who we are looking for

• Holds a Swedish specialist certificate in pathology
• Competence in general pathology with a focus on subspecialties such as dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, cytology, or head and neck pathology.
• Interest in digital pathology and new technologies.
• A collaborative attitude with a passion for quality development and professional growth.
