Army Museum
Do you want to be one of the key persons in one of Sweden's largest museum initiatives and help us reach 150,000 more visitors per year? The Army Museum is facing a significant development project. The current exhibition environment is primarily from the year 2000. A directional decision has been made that includes new exhibitions with a greater focus on children and youth, as well as increased participation and accessibility.
The Army Museum consists of two units, for collection and public activities. Within the public unit, you will find pedagogy, programs, hospitality, operations, conferences, and exhibition production. As part of our development work, we are now strengthening the unit with an additional exhibition producer.
Are you mission-focused, visionary, attentive, and do you have experience in similar work? Do you believe in the value of museums in society and as a destination? Are you ready to take on this challenge and consider yourself one of the best in the field? If so, we hope you will apply for this position and become part of the project team we are forming in 2025.

Conduct feasibility studies in close dialogue with project leaders, project groups, and steering groups. Engage in dialogue and create participation with target groups in connection with exhibition projects. Procure services, manage and maintain budgets, prepare decision-making materials, work according to set timelines, continuously report developments and deviations to project leaders and steering groups, archive and finalize reports, prepare handover documentation for operational management, and participate in evaluations.
Your Educational Background
You should have an academic degree focused on humanities or social sciences, or another degree deemed equivalent by the employer.
