We are currently seeking an experienced automation engineer for one of our clients in the defense industry. You will work with support and development of the production process with a focus on automation, implementing new automation solutions, optimizing production flows, and reviewing and improving machines and equipment.

Your responsibilities;

• Work on continuous improvements of processes, implement new automation solutions to optimize processes and improve ergonomics for operators.
• Streamlining and quality assurance of processes.
• Implement product changes and establish work instructions.
• Specify needs for tools and fixtures as well as start up new equipment.
• Maintain existing automated systems and introduce necessary improvements and changes.
• Train staff on how the production process works.
• Program Robots and PLCs.

Your profile We are looking for someone with a strong drive to contribute to innovation and be involved in large projects. You have a background in system development and a passion for learning more and developing within the profession. You have the ability to independently drive tasks forward and create a personal network. To thrive in this role, you have:

• Relevant academic education with a focus on production technology or other post-secondary education combined with good experience.
• At least four years of relevant work experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Good communication skills and you speak and write Swedish fluently.
• Good insight and experience in production and production processes.
• Knowledge of composite technology and experience in automation is a plus.
• You have knowledge and experience working with Lean Production.
