JOB DESCRIPTION

At Tidaholm prison, you will be part of a team of client administrators. Within the framework of your duties, you will work across several of our departments. As a client administrator, you will report directly to a correctional officer and be tasked with monitoring, processing, and, by delegation, making and presenting decisions in client matters. The client administrator is a supportive function for the employer. As a client administrator, you play an important role and significantly contribute to a well-functioning structure in the prison. Through both internal and external collaboration, the client administrator strives to optimize the execution process for the client and achieve the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's vision of Better Out. You will guide the contact persons in their daily client work and further develop the contact person role. As a client administrator, you will, under the correctional officer, coordinate client work and the administration of client matters. You will coordinate and administer client work and follow up and prepare cases for the correctional officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who works well with others and adapts the way they communicate their message depending on the recipient. You have the ability to remain calm and controlled in pressured and stressful situations. In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Attributes such as high work capacity, pedagogical ability, good initiative and collaboration skills, as well as commitment and responsibility for treatment-oriented and legally secure client work are some qualities we consider essential.

Requirements:

• University or college education with a legal or behavioral science focus, or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the employer.
• Experience in investigative work and handling cases in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service or within another public sector.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Completed correctional education.
• Experience in authority exercise.
• Good administrative law knowledge.
• Execution planning.

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. A security check will precede the employment decision. Some positions are classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. For positions with a higher security class, you must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background.
