With the vision of creating real safety in a world of lithium batteries, we developed a game-changing solution: specially designed fire blankets that can suffocate overcharged battery fires – for real.

It started with two people, an idea, and a determination to never give up. Today, we are the market leader in Sweden for protection against lithium battery fires and part of the CEBON Group. We are growing – rapidly – and are now looking for a fire engineer who wants to help drive development forward.

About the role

You will play a key role in our team where you combine specialist expertise in fire safety with the opportunity to influence the future of fire protection. Your daily work will be varied – from risk assessments and fire technical analyses to customer dialogue, product development, and training.

As we are at the forefront of development, we are out in the field, giving presentations and training our customers. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy being on stage and can explain complex issues clearly and engagingly.

Your responsibilities

-Conduct fire technical risk analyses, particularly related to lithium batteries and energy storage

-Consulting for customers in industry, logistics, and the public sector

-Participate in projects regarding the sizing of protection systems, placement of protective equipment, and evacuation strategies

-Contribute to the development of new fire protection products, such as fire blankets, enclosures, and protection zones

-Conduct training and lectures for customers and partners

-Stay updated on standards, legal requirements, and the latest research in fire protection

You will report directly to our CEO.

We are looking for someone who:

-Is a trained fire engineer – preferably with experience in flammable goods, risk analyses in complex environments, or emergency services

-Has a good understanding of BBR, legislation, and applicable fire protection standards

-Is equally comfortable with theory and analysis as being out in the field meeting customers

-Has an entrepreneurial mindset and dares to think outside the box

-Is a communicative team player who can make complex issues understandable

-Has the willingness to travel, visit customers, and actively participate in sales activities

Meritorious: Experience with CFD calculations, fire in electric vehicles/lithium batteries, or industrial safety.
