The department's responsibilities include, among other things, regulatory contacts, requirement interpretation, and safety management in areas such as radiation protection, physical protection, emergency preparedness, safeguards, etc. You will work closely with several functions within the company related to radiation protection issues, where you will become a specialist in radiology.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Actively ensure that the regulations in the Radiation Protection Act and applicable regulations and conditions are followed by interpreting requirements and monitoring compliance
• Actively ensure that work at the facility is conducted in a manner that is appropriate from a radiation protection perspective, preventing individuals from being exposed to unacceptable or unnecessary ionizing radiation
• Act as a contact person for the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and thereby be the coordinator for all reporting and permit management

Assist the business with advice on radiology, clearance, and waste management issues

Who are you?

We would like you to be a radiation/hospital physicist, a civil engineer in technical physics, or equivalent with some or many years of relevant industry-specific experience. Experience in nuclide-specific measurements, method development for nuclide vectors, or similar is advantageous but not a requirement. As a person, you are proactive, self-driven, initiative-taking, collaborative, and have good problem-solving skills. You express yourself well in both spoken and written language, in both Swedish and English.
