Case Handler for Contaminated Areas WSP is one of Sweden's largest consultants in contaminated areas and the world's largest environmental consultant, enabling us to offer our clients world-class environmental consulting services. We have both broad and specialized expertise. We are involved in driving development and contribute strongly to sustainable societal development. In every project, we strive to meet Sweden's overall environmental goals.

Within our contaminated areas section, we have many exciting projects underway, and with us, you will have a developing role in a global company. The department is growing, and we need to strengthen our office in Eskilstuna with a case handling environmental consultant for contaminated areas.

For WSP, Earth & Environment is at the core of our Future Ready vision. Today, we have over 23,000 employees worldwide, of which 700 are in our Swedish operations, spread across about 20 offices throughout the country.

About the Role You will work as a case handler and field case handler in a group of environmental consultants primarily working in the technical area of contaminated sites. You will be stationed in Eskilstuna and belong to a group with colleagues in Mälardalen and Linköping. We carry out many different types of assignments in contaminated areas, such as large infrastructure projects, environmental investigations, development assignments, and remediation measures using various methods.

As a case handler, you will carry out assignments together with colleagues in project form. The tasks include investigations such as MIFO phases 1 and 2, environmental technical soil investigations, risk assessments, remediation investigations, and clean-ups.

The work takes place both in the office and in the field. We have a well-developed collaboration between our offices in Sweden, which has been made possible in part by our active national technical networks in contaminated areas. Within the technical networks, we develop our expertise in, among other things, chlorinated solvents, PFAS, risk assessments, and quality in the field. The group is characterized by helpfulness, and together we possess a high level of competence. We are happy to work on varied assignments and therefore seek you who are stimulated by a changing environment and want to develop with us.

Your Profile You who are applying have a scientific post-secondary education with a relevant focus. Some years of work experience in contaminated areas and experience from the consulting industry are meritorious. We would like you to have written your thesis or done an internship in contaminated areas.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and enjoys solving problems. You are interested in working both outdoors with field investigations and indoors with planning, evaluating, and reporting conducted investigations. You as a person are stimulated by working in a group and working together towards common goals.

It is important for us that you want to develop in the consulting role; therefore, we believe that you are engaged, structured, collaborative, unpretentious, and business-minded in your work. Since the work involves a large part of communication, it is also a requirement that you can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

The work may involve day travel, and a B driver's license is required.

We Offer At WSP, we have the resources and knowledge required to drive large and small community development assignments. By enabling present leadership and collaborating nationally, we have succeeded in creating strong teams that can tackle the biggest challenges for our future societal development. In recent years, we have also climbed rapidly on the lists of Sweden's most attractive employers while achieving good results in our employee surveys. We are convinced that satisfied employees and good results in assignments go hand in hand.

With us, you will be part of an engaged group with broad expertise in contaminated areas and a strong focus on finding the best solutions through collaboration. Application Deadline: Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than May 4, 2025.
