Have you recently graduated in technical physics, radiophysics, nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry, or similar and want to contribute to a safer and more sustainable future? We are now looking for an engaged and curious employee to join our radiation safety team. This is a perfect opportunity for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop your skills in an area where your contribution makes a difference. You will work alongside experienced specialists and contribute to:
- Applications for new nuclear facilities and investigations of radiation protection-related events.
- Development of measurement methods and evaluation of new types of measuring instruments.
- Risk assessments and dimensioning of radiation shielding and protection.
- Development of nuclide vectors for activity determination of waste.
With us, you will have a varied role where you can work both analytically and practically, while contributing to creating a safer and more efficient nuclear technology operation.
Who are you?
We are looking for a recent graduate engineer with a genuine interest in radiation safety and radiation protection issues. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in teams where you can learn from experienced colleagues. Experience through thesis work, internships, or summer jobs in nuclear technology is an advantage but not a requirement. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
